Last wiki revision 2023-06-19
John Chalfant is a former member of Blizzard Entertainment. Having been hired as a Cinematics Artist in 1998, he worked on Diablo II, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and World of Warcraft.
Chalfant modeled and textured the human footman in The Prophecy, the first trailer for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. He hid his initials, "jgc", on the cheek guards of the footman's helmet. The letters can be seen in the filigree design on either side of the footman's nose.
