SS Companion
The Mechanical Chicken is a mechanical chicken companion. It's a miniature version of the OOX homing robot, created by master gnomish engineer Oglethorpe Obnoticus.
This item is a quest reward from An OOX of Your Own, the final quest in the Oglethorpe's Homing Robots quest chain.
''Not to worry; the combat mechanisms and homing logic have been disabled on this unit, I think. --Oglethorpe Obnoticus''
