Flightstones (quest)

Flightstones introduces players to Flightstones, the Dragonflight Season 2 item upgrade currency.

Acquire 50 Flightstones by defeating unique creatures, conquering dungeons and raids, completing world activities, or by looting caches. Then speak to Cuzolth, and upgrade a piece of equipment using Flightstones.

• Flightstones (50)
• Upgrade a piece of equipment with Flightstones

You caught my eye from the moment you stepped foot in Loamm, champion! Look at all that sparkling gear. And I can sense you want... more.

You may have stumbled across Flightstones already. My friend Cuzolth and I know how to harness the power of Flightstones to upgrade gear.

We have shared the knowledge with our network of upgrade specialists. Any of them will be able to tell you exactly what you need. Cuzolth can show you now, provided you have enough Flightstones.

You will receive:

• Obsidian Flightstone (100 Flightstones)
• 15x Whelpling's Shadowflame Crest Fragment
• 9,500 XP

More powerful gear opens the door to more exciting adventures! Isn't that what we live for?

Your gear glitters a little more brightly, champion! I am always seeking to make our community stronger.

Please, accept these gifts.

The quests up to this point will have provided more than enough Flightstones to complete the objective, but a quick source of additional open-world Flightstones (and Dragonflight Season 2 gear) is the Fyrakk Assaults in Ohn'ahran Plains and Azure Span. Rare elites in Zaralek Cavern are also a good source.

After getting fifty, return to Cuzolth in Loamm and upgrade any gear that shows Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, or Hero in the Upgrade Level line, like Shalkeel's Remembrance. There's no weekly cap on Flightstones and they are fairly easy to come by, so don't feel obligated to save for a high item level piece to complete this quest. Any uncommon or rare item will do.
