Shattrath orphanage

The Shattrath orphanage is located in the eastern end of the Lower City of Shattrath. Run by the orphan matrons Nicole Bartlett and Mercy, it serves as a refuge for the children who've lost their parents to the deadly conflicts across Outland. It houses blood elf, draenei, human, and orc children, as well as babies of many other races. Priests sometimes visit the orphanage and tell the children stories.

During Children's Week, adventurers can visit the orphanage to temporarily adopt one of two orphans: Dornaa (Alliance) or Salandria (Horde).
