Gem of Elune

The Gem of Elune is a mysterious object that was briefly shown at the ancient Altar to Elune located in Winterspring, after the altar momentarily was reactivated during Guardians of the Altar. The quest began with a night elf named Ranshalla, who sought to learn about the connection between the moon goddess and the wildkin. According to the spirit of the Priestess of Elune who tended to the altar during her lifetime, the gem allowed for direct communication with the goddess herself, making the artifact invaluable. The spirit however didn't mention whether the gem still exists or not, nor what has happened to it.

Ever since the Cataclysm, both Ranshalla and the altar appear to have gone missing.
