Scorched Plain

The Scorched Plain is an area east of the Regrowth that once held the Guardians of Hyjal's forward base in Mount Hyjal. The entire town was destroyed by the fiery army led by the Twilight's Hammer. Captain Irontree and Logram, among a few other Irontree Wardens, survived the original attack and now position themselves in the main building defending themselves off from the army that continues the assault.

Far east of the scorched town in a clearing is the flamegate to the Crucible of Flame.

The area is also a night elf archaeology dig site.
