Lagspike Films

Last wiki revision 2016-04-29

Lag Spike Films is considered a bit of a legend in the World of Warcraft community. They are best known for their World of Warcraft machinima uploaded to YouTube. They started back in 2008 with their machinima known as "Crossing Over" which stars an in-game type of sentient NPC "crossing over" into the game world where the players are aware it is a game while he is not. This currently sit's at 1,555,161 views and is in the "hall of fame' to the Warcraft community. As for Lag Spike Films themselves, their origins are by a guy named Steve. According to his website he began in 2005 with anonymous works. With the positive feedback he received from these, he decided to give himself a name, and Lagspike was his choice. From there he became professional in his works. Thereafter he made short Warcraft animations that still sit on his channel today.

His character in-game has not been known as of yet. However, in the cover part of his YouTube avatar, is a female Forsaken Warrior as it appears.

Steve has sadly been on hiatus since June 20th, 2011. However according to his updates, he will be revisiting Star Craft 2 in a Machinima at an unknown date.
