Doom and Gloom (quest)

Recover the ingredients Ernest needs to create an Elixir of Suspension.

• Shimmering Pollen (quest item) (50)
• Spotted Gloomcap (8)
• Rotwood Root

Doom curses are serious business, so much so that many warlocks didn't deal in them for some time.

The magic grows stronger as time goes on, eventually leading to death. Only the caster of the curse can remove it.

I can craft an elixir that will slow its progression, but you'll need to collect an assortment of ingredients first.

You will receive: and 20560 XP

Have you found those ingredients yet? Time really isn't on your side, you know.

This looks like everything I need. Just give me a moment to mix it all together.

• Shimmering Pollen is dropped by Terrorvine Lashers in Ash'theran.
• The Spotted Gloomcaps are located throughout Moonclaw Vale.
• Rotwood Root is dropped by Rotwood Creepers in Dreadroot.
