Silverbrook

Silverbrook is a seemingly ordinary town of human trappers in the northern Grizzly Hills. It is nestled among the Silverbrook Hills, close to Drak'tharon Keep and just west of the Blue Sky Logging Grounds. The town is encircled by a wooden palisade and contains four large towers and a number of loghouses. It is under constant attack by the Horde soldiers from Conquest Hold.

When the Wolfcult arrived in Grizzly Hills and began subverting the trappers, they approached the people of Silverbrook and attempted to expand their influence there. At first, the people were reluctant, but over time the cult sympathizers outweighed those that opposed it.

Recently, the inhabitants have come into contact with both the Alliance and the Horde. The Horde has been aggressive to the people of Silverbrook from the start, and the two have clashed in the Silverbrook Hills. The Alliance explored a possible pact with the Silverbrook trappers, sending an envoy, Ducal to the town and assisting the woodsmen with a number of tasks. Eventually, however, Silverbrook's allegiance to the Wolfcult was revealed, starting off a war with the Alliance, too.

Years later, the Bronzebeard brothers journeyed through Northrend, and Muradin Bronzebeard reported that the town of Silverbrook was still active. He stated that he did not care if the Horde wiped the village out, harboring disdain for their previous Alliance betrayal.

• After completing Escape from Silverbrook, most NPCs here will become hostile to you.
• It is unknown if Silverbrook still holds loyalty to the Wolfcult. Muradin claims that the entirety of the village was converted during the war against the Lich King, but later also claims that the Wolfcult was defeated with Arugal and that it still "lingers". Whether this is meant to refer to Silverbrook is unknown.
