Rot Hide Origins

Rot Hide Origins is part of quest chain.

Bring the Sample Ichor to Bethor Iceshard in the Undercity.

• Sample Ichor (provided)

I have reduced the ichor you brought me and separated it into its base components. My findings are not conclusive, but I have determined that warlock and necromantic magics were used in the ichor's creation.

While I continue to study the ichor, I want you to take a sample to Bethor Iceshard in the Undercity. Bethor is not an apothecary, but his knowledge of magic may help to unravel the mystery of the rot hides.

Go. You will find Bethor in the Magic Quarter of the Undercity.

You will gain:

• 320 XP
• +25 reputation with Undercity

My studies require great concentration. So I hope your visit is not a frivolous one.

This substance is laced with powerful spells, some of which I have not seen for a long, long time...

One moment—I must invoke a spell of divination...
