Alliance / Horde

Created by Neltharion the Earth-Warder, the essence of dragons was combined with the adaptability of the mortal races to create an elite soldier capable of switching from a draconic form to humanoid form. Long in a magical stasis, they are now awakening to a new threat within the Dragon Isles. It is in the Forbidden Reach that the dracthyr will start their journey to reclaim their fractured memories and face a new reality.

Surging with elemental magic and the life energies of Azeroth, the Dragon Isles are awakening once more, and with them, the curious dracthyr, now eager to explore their primordial wonder and discover long-forgotten secrets.

Respected for their resilience in battle, even against dragonfire, these noble beasts are the prized mounts of the dracthyr cavalry.

Dracthyr freely switch between two customizable forms—choosing between a humanoid visage, and a fearsome draconic form to battle foes and overcome obstacles.

The leader of the Obsidian Warders believes that given time, the Alliance can be molded into a more unified and dignified fighting force. Scalecommander Azurathel values order and discipline above all—and the Alliance has both in spades.

While the leader of the Dark Talons sees the Horde as little more than a collection of undisciplined misfits and outcasts, Scalecommander Cindretresh can't help but admire their honor and desire to be better people, gladly fighting alongside them.
