Cap of the Scarlet Savant is a quest reward from the quest Cap of the Scarlet Savant (quest) which starts with Malyfous's Catalogue in Everlook in Winterspring.
- Due to its connection to the Scarlet Crusade, it is rumored that the pattern of this item was originally invented by Archmage Timolain.
- Until patch 1.6 which brought Blackwing Lair and Mish'undare, Circlet of the Mind Flayer, this item was the only head piece with 2% spellcrit for cloth wearers.
