Apparently linked to the then-upcoming 2.1.0 change where mining nodes aggros nearby mobs, a blood elf paladin created this legendary thread on the US Forums:

• Logging on should aggro everything.
• You are actually skinning their best friend.

• Tseric's last documented post before leaving Blizzard was a reply to a thread in which the OP stated, "Killing a Tseric should aggro every Tserics in a 40 yd radius. It makes sense, you are actually killing their best friend."
• Before she left Blizzard, Coreiel changed her signature to "blizz".
• World of Warcraft: The Molten Core from the 2008 April Fools and Introducing the Dance Battle System from the 2009 April Fools both reference the meme.
