Hyper-Compressed Ocean

The Hyper-Compressed Ocean is an achievement reward from Secret Fish and Where to Find Them, and is placed directly into the Toy Box on completion. It acts as a fishing pool which player can fish from and lasts for 15 minutes with a 60 minute cooldown.

Interestingly, the toy is treated as a 'school' of fish, meaning that players who have never fished from a school will receive The Old Gnome and the Sea upon successfully catching something from a Hyper-Compressed Ocean.

Any fish from the various regions of Azeroth and beyond may be caught when casting into a Hyper-Compressed Ocean. In addition, there is also the chance to catch one of the following items; many of these were previously found only in the game files and had not been obtainable prior to the implementation of this toy.

Other items that have been reported as being fished from the Hyper-Compressed Ocean include green-quality items and bait related to Bigger Fish to Fry, such as Decayed Whale Blubber.
