Captain Vanessa Beltis

Captain Vanessa Beltis is a human quest giver located in a nook of the Ruined Reaches in Azshara. She was also captain of the Horizon Scout, which sits at the bottom of the sea south of Azshara. She is nowhere to be seen since the Cataclysm, and the cave where she and her crew were hiding no longer exists, likely due to the goblins' reshaping of the zone.

• Gossip
• Ahoy, ! Not a pretty picture, is it?

• The Horizon Scout at the bottom of the sea, my crew in shambles, and our cargo and passengers strewn about like so much debris that you'd think this was one of Stormwind's canals after a festival.

• And that's not where the trouble ends...

• In another unreleased quest, Vanessa wanted Roland Geardabbler and her crew killed (or possibly located).
• Beltis might be a reference to Bêlit, the female pirate captain and lover of Conan.

She may be related to Doreen Beltis.
