Sand Dune

Sand Dunes can be found in the Eye of Azshara in the pools by the shore of the Whispering Willows near the final boss. They are not targetable, and do not show a tooltip when hovering over them with the cursor. They do, however, show up on the mini-map for hunters when they are tracking Elementals, where they are listed by their name and marked as enemies.

Sand Dunes are part of the mechanics revolving around defeating Lady Hatecoil during the dungeon. During the battle, Lady Hatecoil will use to electrify the water around her. To avoid damage from this attack, players need to stand on the sand dunes. Another of her attacks, (as well as the after effects, ), will cause any sand dunes it strikes to blow away, rendering them unusable again for the encounter.

• Although marked as elementals on the minimap for hunters, sand dunes can't be targeted and are inanimate.
