Our Forward Scouts

Our Forward Scouts—along with Favor of the First Ones and Necessary Harvest—begins the second chapter of the Zereth Mortis campaign, "We Battle Onward".

Speak with the forward scouts in Zereth Mortis.

• Genesis Fields Report
• Provis Flora Report
• Terrace of Formation Report

The Jailer's forces control much of Zereth Mortis, but there are other dangers out there as well.

I have dispatched scouts to survey the surrounding area and pinpoint any potential threats.

Speak with each scout. They should have a report of their surveys. Gather this information and then return to me.

You will also receive:

• 8,150 XP

What have you discovered?

This information will help us plan our next move. Thank you, Maw Walker.

The reports are collected from three Knights of the Ebon Blade located around the Great Veldt.

Genesis Fields Report is from a stealthed knight hiding from devourers at the edge of the Genesis Fields in the south. On approach:

• say

Speak to them:

• Strange--these creatures swarm even in this remote land, threatening to consume everything.

Provis Flora Report is from a stealthed knight waiting at the side of the road into Provis Flora, surrounded by a few dead Mawsworn Disruptors. Upon approaching them, another Mawsworn Disruptor spawns and attacks the player.

• say

Speak to the knight:

• The Mawsworn are moving against this position. Bolvar needs to know!

Terrace of Formation Report is from a knight observing some jiro—Nei Misa, Nei Xeno, and Nei Zuui—on the northern border of the Great Veldt, where the desert begins.

• say

Speak to them:

• The language these creatures speak... I can't make sense of it.
