Zergling Leash

Zergling Leash teaches a zergling, a companion that follows the player around.

This item is available only to people who bought the Collector's Edition of World of Warcraft. Players will receive the item, along with the Diablo Stone and Panda Collar, through the mail when logging on for the first time.

It used to be rewarded from the quest Welcome!.

"A small, fierce member of the Zerg swarm, the zergling is not to be trifled with. Very dangerous in high numbers."

• As it's idle animation, it will occasionally snap forward, as if attacking.
• Unlike other minipets, the zergling appears on Track Beasts.
• Will attack nearby Grunty the Murloc Marine.

Zergling, from the original Collector's Edition, is based off the Zergling unit from StarCraft. The Zergling is weak, but can easily swarm the enemy in larger numbers for a quick victory. The battle pet has the themed abilities Metabolic Boost and Zergling Rush.
