Vaean

Vaean is a night elf enchanting vendor located in the Craftsmen's Terrace in Darnassus, standing next to Taladan, the enchanting trainer of Darnassus, and Aladrel Whitespire, one of the Shen'dralar Highborne magi.

During the Burning of Teldrassil, he was caught in the chaos and could be saved.

• According to the The Schools of Arcane Magic - Enchantment, Enchanting is apparently a branch of arcane magic (with the entire blood elf race even gaining a racial passive bonus to the skill), which the night elves have long eschewed before the Shen'dralar's return, and yet Vaean and Taladan have existed in-game long before the Cataclysm. Taladan is apparently speaking with interest with Aladrel, one of the Highborne and a former arcane reforger (whose skills the Highborne originally introduced to the Alliance), which further makes it unclear as to whether he genuinely studied arcane magic, and why the night elves tolerated an Enchanting trainer in their capital.
