Remnants of the First Ones

Collect 3 Conduction Remnants.

• Conduction Remnants (3)

Some evidence of the Mawsworn's destruction may remain in Provis Esper. Recovering that evidence will provide some clue as to how to follow this Jailer.

Let us hunt together. I will know the sign of the First Ones's [sic] magic when we are in its vicinity.

You will receive:

• 8,150 XP
• +50 reputation with The Enlightened
• Emblem of Renown

Have we found all of the remnants?

Only inert remnants, unfortunately.

But do not lose hope, my friend!

Near the northern edge of the area is a bunch of Piled Rubble.

Interact with all of the rocks to destroy them and reveal a Conduction Remnant on the ground that can be looted.

Finally, in the northwest, a Thieving Proto Avian is flying around with a Conduction Remnant in its beak.

Climb up on the nearby stone pillar and wait until the little thief flies close enough for the remnant to be grabbed from it. The avian reacts by briefly stunning the player before flying off:

• In early PTR builds, this quest was named Fragments of the First Ones.
