Caretaker Alaric

Caretaker Alaric is a human caretaker that guards over the artifacts, and in particular Trol'kalar, contained in the crypt of Stromgarde in the Arathi Highlands. Before the Cataclysm he and his comrades were the only NPCs to have a chance at dropping the rare Holy Diadems when killed, a nod to their role as preservers of relics.

• It is possible that his name is a reference to the ancient Germanic tribal leader of the Visigoths, Alaric.
• Before the de-canonization of the RPG books, he may have been intended to be a member of the Caretakers.
