Enveloping Mist

Enveloping Mist is a Mistweaver monk ability. It is a cast that does not do direct healing, but instead applies a heal over time effect.

• Ticks affected by haste.
• Rapid Diffusion allows it to create short applications of Renewing Mist.
• Enveloping Mist has strong interactions with the mistweaver celestials. Invoke Chi-Ji, the Red Crane and Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent both make this ability cheaper. Chi-Ji in particular allows it to become instant cast, allowing Enveloping Mist to be weaved in between other melee abilities.
• Additionally with the Celestial Harmony talent, when the celestial is active, the ability is upgraded to also provide an additional AOE effect, on top of its usual effect to the main target.
• Soothing Mist enables this spell to become instant cast, if it is also targeted at the channeling target of Soothing Mist.

• Try casting it on the tank before they start a pull, as the HoT effect will persist after combat starts.
• The healing amp is a useful part of this spell, during heavy damage.
