The Blackrock Slicer

The Blackrock Slicer is a Level 55 quality Two-Handed Axe that has a chance on hit to cause a bleed effect.

This item drops from Spirestone Battle Lord in Lower Blackrock Spire.

This axe was originally called The Nicker, presumably for its resemblance to a giant razor blade. After item-linking in trade chat became a meme of sorts for many servers (for the most part, originating with the linking of Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker) people started linking other items. One of these was The Nicker, for the racial innuendo in its name. As a result, it was renamed to The Blackrock Slicer. It kept the rename in Classic.
