Empowered Apexis Fragment

Empowered Apexis Fragment is used to upgrade any item created from a Baleful token. It may be cast on Baleful gear that has already been improved (to item level 675 from 650) but there is no additional bonus for doing so. It is even possible to use the item on an ilvl 695 but doing so is wasteful since the fragment cannot improve it any further.

• Rewarded by the quest The Cipher of Damnation (Tanaan Jungle).
• Sold by Ravenspeaker Thelnaas at Vol'mar or Lion's Watch in Tanaan Jungle for 20,000 Apexis Crystal.
• Extremely low chance to be looted from rare and rare-elite mobs in Tanaan Jungle.

• When using Empowered Apexis Fragment on a warforged Baleful item, the warforged status is overwritten with the item level increase to 695.
