Excerpts from the Journal of Archmage Vargoth
Last wiki revision 2021-03-03
The Excerpts from the Journal of Archmage Vargoth is found in the Legerdemain Lounge.
Archmage Vargoth's journal—like his quest text—is littered with paraphrased references to the 1977 Eagles song, "Hotel California." References include:
-- Always distrustful of orcs, I thought to myself, "This could be heaven or this could be hell."
-- I have to find a passage back to the place I was before!
-- We gather daily for a feast conjured by Luminrath, and Dathric's steely mageblade has managed to protect the village from intruders.
-- ''An arcane golem guards the door below, programmed to aggrieve. I can study all the books I want, but I can never leave!''
