The Challenge (quest)
Last wiki revision 2023-03-31
Travel to the Ring of the Law in Blackrock Depths and place the Banner of Provocation in its center as you are sentenced by High Justice Grimstone. Slay Theldren and his gladiators and return to Anthion Harmon in the Eastern Plaguelands with the first piece of Lord Valthalak's amulet.
- Theldren's Team Defeated
- Top Piece of Lord Valthalak's Amulet
- Banner of Provocation (provided)
Heed me well,. For the banner to work in the desired way, you will need to step into the Ring of the Law in Blackrock Depths. Allow yourself to be sentenced by High Justice Grimstone and place the banner firmly on the ground in a sign of defiance.
Your victim will not be able to restrain himself and shall enter the fray filled with a desire to fight you. Once you obtain that which you seek, go back to Anthion.
You will receive:
- 9550 XP (or a compensation at level 80)
You're back, !
You've recovered part of the medallion, ?
- You'll need to go to the Ring of Law which is an arena like area. When you are being sentenced, use the Banner. This will bring Theldren into the fight.
- The group you will face will fight like a PvP group. They will try to go after cloth wearing characters first. They are immune to taunt and tanks will have a hard time maintaining aggro. The best strategy is to use a lot of crowd control such as polymorph, fear, and freeze traps. You want to leave only 1-2 active so you can concentrate firepower on those.
- When you complete the fight, a box of loot will appear. Make sure you loot the Top Piece of Lord Valthalak's Amulet off Theldren. You get to keep the banner in case you want to run this fight again.
