I'm a Medieval Man

"I'm a Medieval Man" is a bonus song on the Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal soundtrack that can be played at any time during a game by entering the cheat code "disco". The vocals, performed by Bill Roper, mostly consist of remixed sound bites from Warcraft: Orcs & Humans. It is a parody of the song "Mechanical Man" from the RTS game .

• The song is referenced in by "medieval man", a cheat code to obtain all unit upgrades for free, and a short clip from the song plays in one of the click quotes for the unit.
• "" from and "Power of the Horde" from Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne are similar cheat code songs.
• The Command & Conquer composer, who created the original "Mechanical Man" song, stated in 2019 that he'd met the composer of "I'm a Medieval Man" a few years earlier and that he appreciated the homage.
• A fan remaster of the song is included in the fanmade Warcraft III: Reforged mod Warcraft: Chronicles of the Second War.
