Lin Tenderpaw

Lin Tenderpaw is a pandaren monk who is seen in both the Jade Forest and Valley of the Four Winds. Xiao describes Lin as doubtful of her own abilities, but with the potential to be great if she only had faith in herself.

Several weeks before the parting of the mists of Pandaria, Lin left her father and home to train in the Tian Monastery.

Lin, along with her childhood friend Apprentice Yufi, trained with the adventurers in the Tian Monastery. After her training was complete, she and some of her follow monks left for the Valley of the Four Winds to search for the Hidden Master. She headed to the west, arriving in Stoneplow before continuing northward and ultimately being the one to find the Hidden Master. Though her training was initially unsuccessful, with the help of the adventurers she managed to see it through. She and her team later helped defend Stoneplow against a mantid invasion.

She later spent some time training at the Temple of the White Tiger, and observing the Celestial Tournament at the Timeless Isle.

During the invasion of, she joined the adventurer at their garrison.

Lin was defending Tian Monastery when the Burning Legion invaded it.

• Hello! And welcome!
• Welcome to our home in the hills,.

• It's a monastery, of course!

• The monks here at Tian Monastery specialize in teaching young pandaren - like me - how to fight. All the great fighters started here: Yu Ming the Blade, Liang the Unbreakable... even the great emperor Shaohao studied at this very temple.

• Or so the legends say.

<Name>! It's me! Remember? From the Tian Monastery?

• Pang's Stead

It took me a while, but I've finally graduated! Xiao, too, and well, everybody else that you see here.

We're not students anymore. We're on our first quest - the quest to find the Hidden Master.

I grew up hearing legends of the White Tiger. He is a hero to the pandaren people. It is a real honor to be here training.
