I be more than willing ta lend my shelter and home to travelers in need, but I'm nae too keen to force my people inte yer affairs.

I'll tell ye what... my people are warriors, straight and true. On the day a frostborn becomes a man, he has to prove himself in battle. He has ta show us that he'll not let size hold'm back.

Show me yer as strong and fierce as one of my men, and I'll have them lend ye an ear or a blade. Speak to Fjorlin over by the cliff to the south there and he'll put ye to the test.

Ye've come back to me. Have ye come back to me victorious?

Ha! Grand tale <lad/lass>... perhaps ye have a bit of frostborn blood in ye, eh? Yer not just talk anyway, and that's what I needed to hear.

The Iron Watcher has 101,000 health.

A few yards from where Velog drops the player off is a Battered Storm Hammer. You will receive a bit of fall damage from the dismount, so make sure you heal that up first. Use the hammer for a four second stun and a hit anywhere from 7700 to 10000 damage with a 10 second cooldown. The fight is all about kiting as the Iron Watcher will pick up his pace the more he gets hit. Melee hits on cloth are in the 4000 range, and he has a warstomp with a massive range that does ~875-950 damage. In other words, hit him with the hammer, run off while cd goes off, hit him again, run off and heal yourself. Do this 4 - 5 times until you knock him off the ledge!

It seems the Iron Watcher was nerfed a bit by patch 3.3.5. It now has 100,800 HP, the storm hammer now does 9000 to 11,000 dmg, and the warstomp does 400 to 600 dmg on mail users.

Velog drops the player off at the end of a broken bridge.

''As Velog flies off, at the other end of the broken bridge stands the Iron Watcher, the player's "final exam". Pick up the Battered Storm Hammer left by its unfortunate former owner. This frostborn apparently did not study hard enough. Get within range and throw the storm hammer.''

The Iron Watcher topples off the end of the bridge and is killed on impact with the cliff far below.

When you complete the quest, Fjorlin Frostbrow calls you over, unlocking Unwelcome Guests:
