Goat

Goats are small livestock, mainly found in Pandaria, though native populations also exist elsewhere such as in Alterac Valley. Goat's milk is used to make cheese. Their fur can be used to make clothes, such as cloaks.

You'll often find them perched high atop impossibly high and remote stone outcroppings. There are few creatures as sure of foot. It takes unflagging patience and a gentle touch to train obstinate mountain goats for riding.

Although not as wise as the local frost wolves, the goats of Alterac willingly surrendered wool, milk, and sometimes even their life in return for the Frostwolf clan's protection.

There are three goat mounts that can be purchased from Gina Mudclaw in the Valley of the Four Winds : Reins of the Black Riding Goat, Reins of the Brown Riding Goat and Reins of the White Riding Goat.

• Argi can be bought from the Blizzard Shop or In-Game Shop. She is a mix of draenei and goat.
• Baa'ls Darksign can be earned by defeating Baa'l in a pet battle.
• Craghoof Kid is a rare drop from Island expeditions.
• Spectral Bell has a chance to drop from Big Bag of Pet Supplies.
• Summit Kid can be captured in pet battles in Kun-Lai Summit.

Goats are tamable by hunters as part of the gruffhorn family.

• There are herb-grazing goats at Lakeshire.
• Billy Goats near Fuselight in the Badlands use the ram model.
• Grummles refer to goats as "goots".

• Ram
