An Undeserved Fate

Collect Mawsworn Keys from Mawsworn forces in the Tremaculum and use them to free 15 Shackled Souls.

• Shackled Soul released (15)

I have seen many souls brought here during my detention. The Jailer seems to want to break them, to twist them into his service... or worse.

No soul deserves such a fate,.

The Mawsworn here hold the keys to their chains. Free as many as you can and we'll get them away from here.

You will receive:

• 6,800 XP

Free those souls,. They should not be bound here.

I knew I could trust you with this task.

Though we face insurmountable odds, we must try to do what is right.

Pick up both quests, then use the teleport rune to head back down to ground level.

Kill Tremaculum Sentinels, Tremaculum Wardens, and Mawsworn Willbreakers until they drop a Mawsworn Key, and use the key to open a Mawsteel Cage.

When using keys, Thrall and Jaina can say:

Each cage will consume a key, and holds two to three Shackled Souls.

Down on the ground level, run up the stairs to find Phael the Afflictor:

After acquiring the Afflictor's Key and freeing 15 souls, take the teleporter back up to the upper level. Open the two Mawforged Locks holding Anduin to free him. Open both:
