Fighting for the Forge

Head to the Forge of Afterlives with Jaina.

We made our way here as soon as we could. Anduin has been sighted near the structure in the middle of this land, referred to as the Forge of Afterlives.

No doubt the Jailer will join him soon. We need to leave immediately.

Speak to Jaina:

• Mal'Ganis... if what he says is true, then Anduin must be preparing to attack the Forge of Afterlives!

Jaina summons and mounts a Water Elemental and places Baine and the player in water cyclones that keep pace with the elemental as it zooms off up the road toward the Forge of Afterlives.

The trio stops at the edge of the bridge leading to the Forge, and a cutscene plays:

• The Maw Walker, Jaina, and Baine run toward the Forge, but the way is blocked by Maw magic. In the distance, Anduin uses Kingsmourne to dominate the oracle Dausegne. A huge portal opens behind him and the sky fades to blue as the Jailer emerges. Anduin finishes his work and Dausegne turns into a Dominated version of herself.

• The Jailer points at the Forge.

• The oracle floats up to the nearby obelisk and slams dark magic into it, causing the entire Forge's glow to fade. A massive beam of energy shoots out from the Forge toward the east. The Jailer begins teleporting himself and his servants away.

• The trio are enveloped in a massive orb of Maw energy which floats up to the energy beam and zooms away along it into the distance. The sky returns to its normal brightness. The magic blocking the heroes' way to the Forge dissipates as the beam dies.
