Strangely, the inside of the eggshell has a message written on it, in jade-green ink:

You have the look of a messenger about you. What do you have for me, ?

Ah, you've found one of my treasures. Well done, adventurer.

In return, I will allow you to purchase one of my rare challenge cards.

The eggshell is acquired upon defeating the level 25 Battle Pet Doopy located at in Icecrown.
