CVar GxRestart

This CVar will restart the graphics engine.

Very useful if the memory management system has crashed, and the game is extremely choppy (when its not usually choppy).

This only deals with the graphics engine, and is useless if you need a reload for addon reasons - see CVar reloadUI.

Unlike most CVars this one doesn't accept any settings, and is only useful if done in-game.

In-game, type the following /console gxRestart
