Overgrown Lilypad

This item has a chance to drop from the pandarian champion Sele'na in Valley of the Four Winds. Additionally, any Gulp Frog at the Croaking Hollow on Timeless Isle may drop it as well.

• Using Overgrown Lilypad causes a visual effect and grants the user the Symbiotic Growth buff
• The buff grants the player one druid ability based on their class and combat role
• The buff lasts for 1 hour, matching the Lilypad's 1 hour cooldown, and persists through death
• The abilities granted by the Overgrown Lilypad are exactly the same as those granted by the druid Symbiosis ability
• Can only be used in the outside areas of Pandaria - cannot be used in battlegrounds, arenas, instances or cities
• Cannot be used by druids

In most important respects, this item's effect functions exactly like the druid ability Symbiosis; for more info, see that page.

Differences include:

• Can only be used in the outside areas of Pandaria; Symbiosis has no such limitation
• Overgrown Lilypad's buff can be cancelled by the receiving player; Symbiosis can only be cancelled by the druid
• No distance limitation; Symbiosis' effect is cancelled if the druid and the receiving player become too far apart

• Like most buffs, the buff from this item will be removed upon changing specialization.
• Abilities granted by this item will appear in the character's spellbook, in the tab corresponding to their current specialization. From there, players can drag the abilities to an action bar.
