Enter the Illidari: Shivarra

Feed a powerful soul into the Legion Gateway Activator and then use it to summon in your Shivarra forces.

• Sacrifice made
• Shivarra forces

Our Shivarra demonesses are waiting at the Black Temple. It's a gamble bringing them here... they used to be part of the Burning Legion after all. But, they are some of the most powerful in Lord Illidan's arsenal.

<Jace looks at you for a long moment.>

I have a feeling that the ultimate sacrifice is going to have to be made in order to summon them in.

You will receive:

• Leggings of Sacrifice
• 37,000 XP

Once you've activated the last of the gateways, we'll all be assembled.

Then, we can crush the brood queen's forces here in the volcano.

Grim. But demon hunters are no strangers to sacrifice. We have given everything to become what we are.

The Legion will fall. We await your orders,.

• Approach Sevis Brightflame

• The brood queen must have done something to the gateway. Not even the souls of several mo'arg were enough to unlock it.

• The soul of a demon hunter, however, would do the trick. You have a choice to make, ...

• ... One of us must die.

• Of course. I willingly sacrifice myself for the cause. What demon hunter wouldn't?
• say
• Are you certain, ? You're far more important to the mission than me.
• say
• Sevis kills you with a Chaos Strike and your soul is sent to a graveyard. On the way back to your corpse, Illidan will speak to you.

• Sevis's corpse
• <Sevis paid the ultimate price so that you could use the Legion Gateway and summon in your Shivarra forces.>

• <Don't allow his sacrifice to have been made in vain.>

While making your way to the foothold, you will need to be mounted in order to avoid damage from the series of fel lava splashes that land on the pathway.

If you chose to sacrifice yourself instead of Sevis, you will see the latter at Illidari Foothold and has the following to say when you interact with him:

• Thank you again for sparing my life. I trust you know that I'd willingly sacrifice everything to further Lord Illidan's plan. The Burning Legion must be destroyed at any cost.

• I owe you everything,.

• Now, you must tell me how you survived. I killed you! It would seem the rumors about you are true... you're nearly as powerful as Illidan.

If you sacrificed Sevis, his ghost later appears at the Illidari Foothold with the following gossip:

• Thank you again for giving me the honor of sacrificing my life for the cause. Now you know that I'd willingly give everything to further Lord Illidan's plan. The Burning Legion must be destroyed at any cost.

• I owe you everything,.

• Now, you complete what we started, gain the Sargerite Keystone, and return triumphant to the Black Temple.
