Holy Nova

Holy Nova is a Holy priest class talent which damages enemies and heals allies in a point-blank area of effect.

• The spell's damage is subject to diminishing returns if hitting more than 5 targets.

• While its damage is low, it is enough to instantly kill certain low-health targets.
• While its damage is minimal, Holy Nova is one of the Holy priest's only instant damage spells. In certain situations this spell can be useful in finishing an opponent that is very close to death.
• Holy Nova can also be useful when dealing with stealthed opponents, as an instant, movable AoE that can bring damaged targets out of stealth.
• Holy Nova is the Holy priest's only spammable instant damage ability.

• The blood elf priestess casts Holy Nova in the intro cinematic for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade.
• Holy Nova is a basic Priest spell in Hearthstone. The flavor text reads: "If the Holy Light forsakes you, good luck casting this spell. Also, you're probably a jerk."
