You have found a letter that suggests Stalvan did, infact, reside in Moonbrook for a period of time. Perhaps this letter will give Clerk Daltry what he needs to update his records?

Interesting. So the chap did spend some time in Moonbrook after all. It is rather odd the letter never got delivered. Nonetheless, I shall update the registry.

You are attacked by a Forlorn Spirit once you accept this quest. You may have enough time to run out of the building, if you are quick. The spirit is not terribly powerful, but can curse you with the Curse of Stalvan, a 10 minute debuff that reduces all your attributes by 5. The spirit can also polymorph and fear your toon, so defeating it alone can be more challenging than expected.
