Flaskataur

Last wiki revision 2023-09-09

Flaskataur is a tauren that appears on the PTR and beta realms to aid players.

He originally appeared in the patch 2.1 PTR, handing out lots of cool flasks to help people test the new raid content with the appropriate levels of gear. He also gave out lots of epic gear to every character.

He sold the following, Flaskataur exclusive, goods and other stuff like Potions and Ammo:

  • Flaskataur's Celestial Brew
  • Flaskataur's Tears
  • Flaskataur's Flask of Flaskocity
  • Flaskataur's Flask of Pretty Good Power

At some point, he could be summoned using the Flaskataur's Lamp.

A female Flaskataur has also been spotted.

Now known as Flaskataur, Esq. during the Mists of Pandaria beta, he was seen in the Temple of the Jade Serpent dungeon and in both Orgrimmar and Stormwind. He sold glyphs to players.

Flaskataur returned on the patch 5.2.0 PTR where he sold normal Tier 15 armor for gold.

The Flaskataur returned for the Warlords of Draenor beta as the Savage Flaskataur, Esq.. Giant versions could be found in cities and certain other locations selling gear, enchantments, and consumables.

There was also a Crystalline Flaskataur located at Frostwall and Lunarfall.

There were three versions:

  • Infernal Flaskataur, Esq., with the title of <PTR's Official Dispenser of Consumables and Love Advice>. He offered food, potions and flasks, enchants, Silkweave Splint, and Drums of Fury.
  • Slightly smaller and located next to his other self, Legendary Flaskataur had its own title of <Legendairy>. He sold tier gear, legendary equipment, and a Blood-Soaked Invitation. Legendary Flaskataur was also outfitted differently, wearing the mage-only Elemental Triad set from Challenge Mode Season 1.
  • The third was located in the Broken Isles Dalaran, with the name and title of Elite Legendary Flaskataur <New to 7.1.5!>.

The Legendary Flaskataur returned for the Battle for Azeroth beta as the Legendairy. He offered all legendary items introduced in Legion. As N'Zoth was released, even the mighty Flaskataur seemingly felt the influence of the Old God and started offering Corrupted Ny'alotha Raid Items.
