Vanndar Stormpike

Vanndar Stormpike is a dwarf mountain king and the leader of the Stormpike Expedition in Alterac Valley. Vanndar rules from his fortress of Dun Baldar in the northern part of the Valley.

At some point after the Third War, Vanndar Stormpike and the Stormpike Expedition settled in the Alterac Valley to search for natural resources and ancient relics. Despite their intentions, the dwarven presence has sparked heated conflict with the Frostwolf clan to the south, who have vowed to drive the interlopers from their lands, causing conflict between the two factions.

Following the Cataclysm and the invasion of Gilneas, Vanndar Stormpike has formed an alliance with Ivar Bloodfang's pack, the Bloodfang worgen, and has set up base on Purgation Isle where he briefly fought against Kingslayer Orkus and the Horde adventurer.

During the third invasion of the Burning Legion, when an Alliance adventurer reached Prestige Rank 2, Vanndar could be found in Stormwind Keep alongside other notable leaders of the Alliance. He was later present at the ceremony hosted by King Anduin Wrynn that congratulated the adventurer for their battles against the Horde, after they received the Grand Marshal's Medal of Valor from the High King, as well as an artifact appearance.

I promise you this much: The Valley will be ours.
