Black Magic

Black Magic permanently enchants a melee weapon to cause your harmful spells to sometimes increase haste by 62.

The Formula: Enchant Weapon - Black Magic can be purchased from, located in Simply Enchanting in Dalaran. She sells the formula for 10 Dream Shard.

• The "glow" effect is the same as on Unholy Weapon, i.e. small green skulls flying around the weapon
• Black Magic lasts for 10 seconds.
• Has a 35 second internal cooldown.
• Only procs for caster direct damage spells. "Physical magic" (paladin Hammer of Righteousness) and DOTs will not proc this.
• Exceptions to the "Physical magic" are the Cat Form abilities Mangle and Shred. Also, Dire Bear Form with Infected Wounds will proc the enchant with Mangle and Maul.
• Proc rate approximately 35%.
