Strangers in a Strange Land

Accompany Pelagos and explore your surroundings.

• Surroundings explored

Did we... did we reach Zereth Mortis? And are we walking on water?

What a wondrous place! At least, from what I can tell through this fog.

I think I can make out a structure in the distance. Perhaps we will find answers there.

You will receive:

• 8,150 XP

You do not seem to be agents of the Jailer... but I must be sure.

I will not abide agents of the Jailer defiling this land!

On accept, Pelagos starts accompanying the player.

Head up the stairs to the gate, where Firim sits waiting with Barnaby and Polly. On approach, he stands up and turns to face the newcomers:

In early builds, Firim and his vombata weren't present in front of the gate. Instead, players had to activate the Quadrangular Altar (spelled "Quadangular") and Triangular Altar before they could go through the gate and meet the broker. This objective was moved to the Long Lost Firim quest, but the following dialogue from Pelagos was not kept.

Once both altars were activated, the gate would open and reveal Firim, at which point dialogue between him and Pelagos identical to the live version would play out.
