Gryphon mounts

Gryphon mounts are the flying mounts for Alliance players. They come in a variety of colors and can also be used for land travel. Until Wrath of the Lich King, these mounts were Alliance only.

Ebon Gryphon, Snowy Gryphon, and Golden Gryphon requires expert flying (costs to train) and cost each. Faction reputation discounts apply to reduce the price. A player may purchase these mounts from:

• at Wildhammer Stronghold in Shadowmoon Valley
• at Valiance Keep in Borean Tundra
• at Honor Hold in Hellfire Peninsula
• in Dalaran
• in Stormwind City

Swift Blue Gryphon, Swift Green Gryphon, Swift Red Gryphon, and Swift Purple Gryphon cost each, and are available from the same vendors as the Expert mounts above. Again, faction reputation discounts apply.

• Armored Snowy Gryphon is only available from Mei Francis in Dalaran, and only purchasable by the Alliance. She charges for it, but faction discount does apply from the Kirin Tor. The Horde equivalent is the Armored Blue Wind Rider.
