Molten Core (quest)

Speak with Moira at the Stormwind Embassy to travel to Molten Core and retrieve a Fragment of the Molten Core.

• Shocking Amount o' Dark Iron Ingots
• Fragment o' the Molten Core

We'll need a fragment o' the core tae repair the Black Anvil an' who knows how much dark iron tae achieve the necessary purity. Thaelin can figure that part out.

In fact, I think he oughta go with ye tae get yerself a Fragment o' the Molten Core.

It's too dangerous tae go deep via mole machine, but he's got a hardy tank that can get ye the rest o' the way from the top.

Talk tae me when yer ready.

Good work,. That fragment gets us a long way toward fixin' the Black Anvil.

Climb aboard the Tank, which comes with two abilities: Frozen Keekers (Frost cone AoE) and Afterburn (increases the Tank's speed and kills any enemies it runs over during the effect). Use them to clear through the Molten Giants, Blazing Elementals, Lava Annihilators, Ancient Core Hounds, and Lava Surgers on your way to Ragnaros' Lair. On arrival towards the "spiral" to the center, the way is blocked by rockslides.

A number of Lava Surgers and Flamewalker Sentinels can be found along the way. At the center, a giant Molten Core floats in Ragnaros' spot, and right about where Majordomo Executus had summoned the firelord, is a flamewalker known as Gezzrok the Keeper, who is initially un-attackable.
