Valley of Ashes

The Valley of Ashes is an area in the Burning Steppes. It is a smoldering stretch of valley curving between the hills, with molten flows to the south and a charred plain to the north. Nothing but tough local wildlife lives here; the only sentient creatures in the area are the black dragonflight. The valley is surrounded by inhospitable land, as Dreadmaul Rock lies to the northeast, the Ruins of Thaurissan is to the northwest, and the Blackrock clan's Black Tooth Hovel is west.

The road running south through the valley leads through Blackrock Pass and eventually into the Redridge Mountains.
