Taming the Beast (blood elf 3)

Taming the Beast is the third pet taming quest in the chain of three for hunters in the blood elf starting area of Eversong Woods. It has the hunter capture a Mistbat for use as a pet.

Use the Taming Rod to tame a Mistbat, and then return to Lieutenant Dawnrunner.

The mistbat is a clever hunter, combining the swiftness of the dragonhawk and the ferocity of the springpaw. They are found just across the Elrendar River to the south, preying on hapless travelers who wander from the road.

Use this final taming rod to befriend a mistbat and return to me when you have finished.
