guild_search

Find a guild by the start of its name

Guilds whose name starts with what you typed, each with its realm, faction, how many characters the addon saw in it, and the count and date of its agreed boss kills. A guild is listed once its members' uploads agree on a kill (2 installs reporting the same guild and boss), once its officers published a board, or once a character was seen in it. Guild names only, never a member's name, and a guild that asked to be hidden is left out. Members seen are counted only when the player pages are connected; otherwise the count is unrecorded, not zero. Reads Everloot's current authorized public corpus when connected. Missing or unavailable data is reported explicitly.

Parameters#

querystring, up to 24 charactersrequired
The start of the guild's name, 2 to 24 characters.
limitinteger, 1 to 25, default 10

The answer#

Text for the assistant to read, and structuredContent with these top-level fields. The JSON Schema is at /schema/mcp/guild_search.json.

connectedbooleanrequired
False when no corpus was read; the page is then absent, which is not a measured zero.
dataAsOfstring, or nullrequired
The corpus snapshot time, or null when unrecorded.
reasonstring
Why nothing was read, when connected is false.
urlstring
The everloot.app page that shows this answer, absolute. Absent when there is no such page or it would be empty.

Without an MCP client#

The same answer is a GET away: /api/tools/guild_search with the arguments in the query string. See the endpoint and the recipe.

Call it
curl https://everloot.app/mcp/public \
  --header "content-type: application/json" \
  --header "accept: application/json, text/event-stream" \
  --data '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"guild_search","arguments":{"query":"Your"}}}'

Arguments show the shape of a call; check the parameters for real values.
