WoW: Forever Character Creation Opens Tomorrow: Your Checklist

TL;DR: WoW: Forever character creation opens tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27, at 1:00 PM PDT (18:00 CET in Europe). Eligible players can make up to 3 characters total across all rulesets until November 3. Install the client today so you are not downloading while the best names go.

Start times

Per Blizzard's announcement:

• North America: Oct 27, 1:00 PM PDT (also 1:00 PM in Arizona)
• Europe: Oct 27, 18:00 CET
• Korea and Taiwan: Oct 28, 07:00 local

"Eligible players can create and reserve names for up to three characters total across all Rulesets." (Blizzard)

Do this today

• Update your graphics drivers.
• Open the Battle.net app and let it update.
• Pick World of Warcraft, then choose World of Warcraft: Forever under Game Version and select Install.
• Decide your ruleset. The 3-character cap is shared: two PvP characters leave you one slot on Normal or Roleplaying. See our rulesets explainer.
• On PvP rulesets you get one faction, so choose between an Elwynn Forest or Durotar start before you log in.
• Have 2–3 backup names ready. Names are first come, first served.

Why it matters

Blizzard says the beta closed so the team can fix priority issues before launch on November 4. Reservation week is your only chance to lock names before everyone else logs in, and capitals like Stormwind City and Orgrimmar will be crowded on day one.

News recap. Everloot has no addon data for character creation.
